"Counterweight hangs in the center of the Golden Branch star sector, a forked path where the Perseus and Sagittarius Arms of the Milky Way come together. Because of its location, life on this planet of billions brims with food, and an exchange of cultures has led to an exchange of culinary arts. Automated robots cook burgers; Starships deliver pizza in the distance at regular intervals; holographic pop idols promote new delicatessen delights; giant humanoid mechs aid in tasks civil, delicious, and military. And sometimes you look up to them and think "What am I gonna cook for dinner tonight?" - COUNTER/Weight intro, bastardized by Alice.

Our Cohost Brian likes to cook, and not just great posts, they also like to cook culinary delights. As we prepared to cover Friends At The Table's COUNTER/Weight season, Brian came up with a thought, how to bring a love of cooking to bear, to show appreciation for the wonderful adventures of The Chime. While reviewing the Podcast he wrote down anytime food played a part in a scene, and then took time to make a dish that both reflected the characters and story, and tasted good.
