This time around we’re concluding the Metal Year project with a game that fondly looks back on the eighties, where all the red-blooded American soldier needed was his boys, his brews, his horse, and his voice-assisted internet enabled smartphone and document scanner, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

[28] TRUTH: THE GIRL WHO SOLD THE POD

"I haven't forgotten what you told me, Brian. We have no tomorrow: but there's still hope for the Podcast. In our struggle to survive the recording deadline, we push the Podcast farther away. Will I see it in my lifetime? Probably not. Which means there's no time to waste. Someday the world will no longer need us: no need for the microphone, or the voice to speak into it. I have to drag out the demon inside me, build a better Podcast. That's what I— what we will leave as our legacy. Another episode, right Brian?"
